Mission: Friends and Traitors
Location: SB 310
Timeline: Shore Leave

It was like walking into ones past, well it was for Tatiana. When she stepped onto 310. She had tried to avoid being on this very station after her kids were stolen from her. It was unavoidable. She was dressed in civvies, simple outfit of pants, dark purple long sleeved vee neck shirt. Black slip on shoes.

Tatiana, she was here, her new ship was here. She will have to walk the halls filled with ghosts. Memories of her children at play, running through the halls. Her taking them to get some ice cream, or go to a children's play area on the station. She sighed heavily.

Memories flooded through her mind. Happy memories, sad memories, memories filled with anger. Memories filled with grief.

Where they were at? Annalise and Darius. Was Owen taking care of them. Has he poisoned their minds against her? She didn't know. She wasn't going to use her workplace to look for them. However, she had to see if she still had connections she could utilize. Talk to those who weren't a part of StarFleet. And maybe someone who she worked with might have heard of something.

That message from her daughter, 'find me, find us' that was haunting her mind. Where were they?

She wrested her mind from going in that direction. It would make her insane. Tatiana sought through her mind, something to distract her from the rabbit hole that it was going down.

Ah she had it, her own mind jumping tracks. Erik, who would have thought she'd wind up on the same ship as he was, once more.

In moments of reflection having seen him again. Tatiana had noticed in herself, something that she hadn't allowed herself to recognize after all these years. Maybe her ex husband was right. She might have had stronger feelings for Erik than she wished to acknowledge.

She wasn't one who was going to cheat on her husband, and she valued and respected Erik far too much. Plus at the time, she was in love with Owen. Now though, she wasn't attached, wasn't in a relationship with anyone. Perhaps she could... venture out on that path, see if things could develop between her and Erik beyond the friendship level?

Another thought welled up.

Or perhaps that ship has sailed never to return, She and Erik, they stay as friends? Nothing ventured nothing gained, if she were to just sit, wait and not make any sort of overtures. The worse thing he could say was... no.

Though, even more thought came to view, she had noticed that there was chemistry between Caitlyn and Erik, it was almost as if she weren't in the same room as them when the three of them were discussing things.

Tatiana's analytical mind went into overdrive, as facts tickertaped through her memory, Caitlyn seemed interested in Erik and possibly there was interest from him as well. There was something in the air, most definitely.

Glances, the fact that he had pulled Caitlyn to go with him to look over Trynn's bedroom. Tatiana didn't become who she was, Chief of intelligence by not being observant. If Caitlyn made Erik happy and he the same for her that wiould be good as well.

Tatiana, her woman's intuition, was scraming out, love was in the air the electricity between Erik and Caitlyn, she reflected on. Oh my gosh, hopefully they will realize it!

Mentally, Tatiana put her own check mark as, deep personal friends, a friend who could be trusted, and be willing to back someone up even at the cost of her own life. For both Caitlyn and Erik. A bond that had been forged a long while ago with Erik, and Caitlyn, there was that connection between the two women.

Feeling relief as to her decision and not wanting to weigh Erik down by her flights of fantasy. It was time to get to work. she was on a new ship, with crew she didn't know much about other than their names and what positions they held.

Tatiana had to laugh at herself, she was now starting up another mental list. This was one habit that drove Owen crazy, he had to admilt though after a little bit of a tiff, her habit of lists and picking up tidbits he hadn't, did help his career and also kept the station safe, when they worked together.

A female voice brought her out of her reverie as Tatiana's feet led her towards the promenade.

"Tatiana? As I live and breathe, You're still alive!"

Tatiana barely had time to turn around when she was swept into a bear hug lifting her up in the air and whirled around

"Gaah Hilda! Let me breathe!" Tatiana gasped out.

Hilda was one of the bouncers at Crikey's bar. A place she liked to go to pick up information. She'd not been there in a long while.

"Ha, ha, ha" Hilda laughed pleased that she had caught Tatiana offguard.

She set Tatiana down.

"Can't believe I surprised you." Hilda commented.

"I can't believe that you did as well." Tatiana giving a laugh. "Its been way too long since I've been here." Looking up at Hilda's face.

"Memories eh?" Hilda responded with an understanding nod. "I remember you in the corner at Crikey's. just sitting rather quietly having two bottles of whiskey, in front of you. One most of the way gone, and you were determined to drink both of them."

"And you cut me off not letting me get really smashed. " Tatiana continued.

"That pea brain of your husband wasn't worth it. Yeah sure he took your kids. You'll get them back." Hilda said with a determined gleam in her eyes.

"I've not found them yet. still trying to find them. I've been getting messages from Annalise asking me to find them." Tatiana taking in a deep breath.

"It will happen and he will get such karmic justice. Just wish I could be there when it happens." Hilda responded with a clenched fist.

"I've got a new job,so don't know how many times I will be able to move through here." Tatiana responded.

"Keep in touch this time, that is if you're not closing yourself up inside a cave or something or other, where ever you disappeared to. You can be so elusive. " Hilda remarked. "but its all good, I'm glad that you are still alive." Wrapping a friendly arm around Tatiana's shoulder.

"And also be careful, when you walk the dusty halls of this station, there might be some colorful individuals who might be displeased with your return." Hilda added. "They had spread the rumors of you possibly having had died."

Tatiana gave a solemn nod. "Well the rumors of my passing are greatly exaggerated." she quipped.

"Okay I need to head to work, drop by later on and have a drink. Sound good?" Hilda being insistent on this. "There might be some others who will be glad to see you. Take care my friend."

Tatiana watched as Hilda walked away. There were rumors of her death? Fascinating who could have benefitted by her not being amongst the living. She will have to ponder about it.

For now, she had a couple of places she needed to visit, maybe even look at. Maybe see if there are any clues or a secret message, that could have been left for her.
